Fire Service International
For more than 20 years, Fire Service International (FSI) has supported fire departments and emergency responders in Guatemala, Ecuador, Nicaragua, and other countries. Our mission is to strengthen emergency response systems and help save lives.
We provide:
- Donated firefighting and emergency medical equipment
- Hands-on training in the U.S. and abroad
- Cross-cultural exchange and collaboration
Whether we are shipping gear or leading training sessions, our goal is simple: build safer communities through better emergency response.
How We Help
On-the-Ground Training
U.S. firefighters travel to Central and South America to lead immersive, hands-on training events for local responders.
International Exchance
We help international firefighters and EMS personnel attend training programs in the United States, expanding their skills and knowledge.
Consuling & Planning
We assist with disaster preparedness, policy development, and sourcing safe, affordable fire trucks and equipment.

SET Environmental, Inc.
Thanks to our partnership with SET Environmental, Inc., we opened the first fire tower training facility in Central America, located in Guatemala City.
This three-story tower now serves 136 fire departments and EMS teams, impacting over 16 million people. It provides advanced training in:
- Firefighting techniques
- Rescue operations
- Emergency medical response
